LOVES PARK – One of Northern Illinois’ premier training centers is opening its doors to the public. Mercyhealth Top Performers will host an open house Tuesday.
Top athletes, parents, coaches and recreactional athletes are invited to attend. Tim Bailey runs MercyHealth Top Performers. He has worked with many top athletes from this area over the past two decades.
He wants people to see what’s available to them at this facility and how it can benefit them.
“We’re doing things at an elite level here at MercyHealth Top Performers and we just really want the public to come out and tour the facility,” says Bailey. “Parents can come out and get some information about our programs for our youth athletes, for our high school athletes, also for collegiate athletes and we train some pro athletes as well. We’ll be showcasing some of our performance tools that we utilize and some of our video analysis and things like that.”
The first 100 people through the doors Tuesday will receive autographed Dean Lowry and Fred VanVleet photographs. There will be other giveaways throughout the evening.
The open house will run from 4:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday. Mercyhealth Top Performers is located in side Mercyhealth Sportscore 2 at 8800 E. Riverside in Loves Park.
