ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Just in time for this Super Bowl Sunday, dietitians at one Rockford hospital have come up with a few recipes that will keep us healthier as we enjoy the game.
The super snacks include Philly Cheese Steak Flatbread Pizza, Skinny Buffalo Dip and Sriracha-Lime Popcorn.
“On average people consume about 2,400 calories at a Super Bowl party,” said Mercyhealth Clinical Dietician Diane Simon. “Then when you add your drinks on top of it, it can be even more. So we just want to make sure people have healthier options and can find easier ways to make your day go smoother so you don’t have to worry about it when you wake up Monday morning.”
