Can I use Virtual Visit Now for emergency care?
No. If you need emergency care, please call 911. Parent or other person authorized to make health care decisions must be present if the patient is a minor (i.e., under age 18).

What conditions can be treated using Virtual Visit Now?
You can participate in a Virtual Visit Now for a wide range of issues, including:

  • Seasonal allergies
  • Cold, cough, bronchitis and flu
  • Sinus and upper respiratory infections
  • Conjunctivitis/pink eye
  • Skin conditions
  • Lower back pain
  • Urinary tract infections

What are the hours of operation?
If you are in Illinois, Mercyhealth medical professionals are available Monday-Sunday, 8 am- 5 pm. If you are in Wisconsin, they are available Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm.

Who is eligible to use Virtual Visit Now?
Most anyone is eligible to use Virtual Visit Now, but you must be located in Wisconsin and Illinois at the time of the visit. Parent or other person authorized to make health care decisions must be present if the patient is a minor (i.e., under age 18).

What is the cost of the visit?
The cost per visit is $49.

Do I need to enroll to use this service?
Yes, enrollment is required before using the service, and it’s free. Enrollment takes only a few minutes and it is recommended you enroll before treatment is needed.

How can I pay for my visit?
Be prepared to pay for your Virtual Visit Now with a credit card at the time of the visit.

Can I get a prescription if needed?
The provider may provide a prescription following your consultation, as applicable and in accordance with the Provider’s medical judgment. Narcotics, however, shall not be prescribed through the use of these virtual services and are only available through an in-person visit. Prescriptions will be sent to the pharmacy of your choice.

Do I need to provide photo identification to use this service?

Yes, you will need a valid form of photo identification to use Virtual Visit Now. Acceptable forms of identification include:

  • Driver’s License
  • Military Identification
  • Passport
  • State Issued Identification Card

What technology is required for Virtual Visit Now?
As long as the device has internet access, a web camera and video capability, you may use a computer, tablet or smart phone. A mobile app is available for members using the iOS (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) or Android mobile platform.

Are there age restrictions on who can use Virtual Visit Now?
Children under the age of three may require expertise specific to pediatric care and are not eligible to receive consultations or utilize the virtual services.
