HOME from the NICU

Life with a child in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) can be challenging. Those challenges continue even after you go home. However, it does get easier and you are not alone. Our Healing, Openhearted, Meaningful, Encouragement group is a group of parents who meet monthly to share their stories, ask questions of fellow NICU parents and gain support along the way.

Mercyhealth Breastfeeding Support Group

Attend this free, informal support group as often as you like to connect with other breastfeeding mothers and babies. Share your concerns and encouragement, socialize, and exchange practical information.

Lactation Consultants will answer questions. Baby scales are available to track your baby’s weight gain. Remember, a breastfed baby who is gaining weight well is getting enough breast milk. Meetings that fall on a holiday will be canceled.

Mercyhealth is facilitating a support group for pregnant women and new parents experiencing perinatal mood and/or anxiety disorders (PMAD).
