Neuroscience

Neuroscience is the study of the nervous system and attempts to define how the brain and spinal cord function, as well as how disease processes develop within the nervous system. As a discipline, neuroscience encompasses the diagnosis and management of disease and/or injury to the brain, spinal cord, and related nerve structures.

The Mercy Institute of Neuroscience was created to provide interdisciplinary, centralized evaluation and treatment for brain- and spine-related problems. We offer an integrative approach to patient care, collaborating with specialists to develop a customized treatment plan for each patient. With state-of-the-art technology to diagnose and evaluate patients, our staff manages all aspects of treatment through surgical and nonsurgical approaches.
