House of Mercy Homeless Center

The House of Mercy is a 25-bed homeless center in Janesville that provides homeless families throughout southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois with short-term emergency shelter and access to housing, job placement and child care resources. Staff at the Center help the homeless assess their needs, obtain appropriate referrals and services, and design an action plan aimed at achieving more stable housing. Mercyhealth Safe Connect Personal Emergency Response System

Emergency assistance is only a pushbutton away—24 hours a day, 7 days a week—with Mercyhealth Safe Connect, a trusted personal emergency response system that’s perfect for elderly and disabled individuals who want to stay in their own homes, independent, safe and comfortable. Meals On Wheels

Meals On Wheels provides affordable meals for the elderly or disabled in their homes. The meals are made fresh in the cafeterias of Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center–Janesville and Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center–Harvard. The programs are overseen by Mercyhealth dietary staff to ensure meals are nutritional and varied. For more information about receiving meals, call the location of your choice:

Senior Connection

This free program for community members aged 55 and older offers Medicare advice from trained personal counselors, referrals for home health and home care, and multiple discounts throughout Mercyhealth. It is located at the Mercyhealth Mall in Janesville. To learn more, call (608) 741-3810.
