Breast Care Services – Rockford

When you hear a diagnosis of cancer, you want the best qualified people to help you through your journey. At Mercyhealth in Rockford, you will have a multidisciplinary team working together on your treatment. Our breast care team includes dedicated, fellowship-trained physicians, as well as a team of nurse navigators, clinical psychologist, clinical dietician, lymphedema therapist, genetic counselor and case manager, all of whom work together to provide our patients and their families with all facets of care.

Because of this team approach, our clinical breast program in Rockford was granted a full accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), an elite branch of the American College of Surgeons. Recognized as an Accredited Breast Center, Mercyhealth Women’s Center is one of 500 breast programs in the world to receive this seal of approval.

This accreditation is our promise to all breast patients in our community that we have always and will continue to strive to provide a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to address all their breast health needs.
