Mercyhealth Behavioral Health Services
Mercyhealth’s substance recovery programs are effective for those struggling with addiction to opiates, alcohol, cocaine, cannabis, prescription medicines and other drugs. Addiction is a complicated illness, so we offer a variety of services and programs.
We offer 3 levels of addiction care:
Clinic-based counseling is based on a patient’s individual needs. Find a counselor by calling (800) 341-1450 or (608) 756-5555.
Day treatment is for adults who are in need of more help than outpatient counseling, but do not require 24-hour hospitalization for medically managed withdrawal. Treatment is provided by a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, certified counselors and nurses. For more information call (608) 756-6545.
Inpatient medically managed withdrawal care offers 24-hour support, supervision and nursing care, with the goal of helping individuals through a period of acute/significant withdrawal symptoms requiring medical attention from alcohol, benzodiazepines and pregnant mothers in opiate withdrawal. Anyone in need to safe withdrawal from alcohol or benzodiazepines should go to the nearest emergency room. Untreated alcohol and benzodiazepine withdrawal can be life threatening.
