Public Reporting

Mercy Health System offers you exceptional health care provided by nationally known physicians in an environment that puts patients first.

When it comes to choosing a health care provider, you want to make an informed decision. After all, your family’s health depends on the decisions you make.

One way to make an informed decision is through research. Mercy voluntarily submits data to a variety of state and national organizations that benchmark Mercy’s outcome measures against other health care providers.

Publicly reported hospital charge, quality, and safety data gives consumers a foundation for more informed decision-making while also serving as a platform for hospitals and their physicians to improve quality by comparing their results with peers.

But don’t take our word for it, see for yourself. We believe that people can make better decisions about their health care if they have accurate information. That is why Mercy monitors hundreds of quality indicators and benchmarks ourselves to local, state and national standards.

Mercy Health System is proud to participate in the following initiatives:

Hospital Compare

Hospital Compare was created by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the American Hospital Association, and many other groups. Mercy voluntarily submits data to this site.

Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals
