JANESVILLE, Wisconsin—Mercyhealth is pleased to announce Danielle Brotherhood, MSN, RN, as new director of nursing services and medical unit at Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center-Janesville. In this new role, Danielle will oversee operations for the medical unit and nursing service office.
Danielle has been with Mercyhealth for seven years, after spending the majority of her career in upstate New York. She has been a nurse for 20 years. During her time at Mercyhealth, Danielle started as a lead nurse for the inpatient units and transitioned to supervisor of the surgical/pediatrics unit. In 2017, she became the Magnet Recognition® program and nursing professional practice manager to prepare for re-designation and confirm our commitment to quality nursing and patient care. Magnet Recognition® from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is the highest and most prestigious distinction a health care organization can receive for nursing excellence and high-quality patient care.
Danielle completed her Associate Degree in Nursing from Blackhawk Technical College, her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing from Kueka College in New York and her Master’s of Science degree from the University of Phoenix. She is board certified as a nurse executive.
