Mercyhealth to Offer Physician Dinner on Cancer Genes

LAKE GENEVA, Wisconsin—Mercyhealth will offer a free dinner and healthy discussion seminar, Wednesday, December 4, 6 pm, at Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center-Walworth, Hwys. 50 and 67, Lake Geneva. The seminar is lead by Dr. Anshul Bamrolia, hematologist and oncologist. Guests will learn about the family genetic component of various forms of cancers. Such as: Genes as the root cause of cancer, gene changes (mutations) inherited at birth versus acquired after birth, testing of genes and prevention of cancer in high-risk genes.
