Zing Health’s care model gives Medicare enrollees easy access to specialized care, prescription drug coverage, dental, vision, hearing and fitness programs.
ROCKFORD, Illinois – Mercyhealth is making in-network access available to all Zing Health Medicare Advantage members in Boone, McHenry, Ogle and Winnebago counties at all Mercyhealth facilities, including Javon Bea Hospital–Riverside and Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford. Eligible Zing Health plans include Zing Choice IL (HMO), Zing Open Access IL (HMO-POS) and Zing Essential Wellness IL (HMO C-SNP) plans.
“With open enrollment for 2021 underway, I’m glad we can provide in-network access to Mercyhealth’s quality healthcare options in our zero-dollar premium Medicare plans,” said Zing Health CEO Dr. Eric E. Whitaker. “Zing Health plans provide personal care for seniors at no or low co-pays for members, including patients with cardiovascular disease or other chronic special needs.”
Zing Health Expands Medicare Advantage Options
Zing Health’s care model is designed to give members easy access to the services they need, including Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage. Plans include dental, vision, hearing and fitness programs to provide members holistic care. Many of these benefits would require out-of-pocket payments or a supplemental plan for patients on original Medicare.
This will be Zing Health’s first year providing coverage in north central Illinois. Options for 2021 open enrollment include a traditional HMO; an HMO-POS, a point-of-service plan with out-of-network options; and a Chronic Special Needs HMO C-SNP plan for patients with cardiovascular disease, chronic heart failure or diabetes. Zing Health also is licensed to provide Employer Group Waiver Plan (EGWP) options in 2021 to select retiree groups.
Medicare open enrollment ends Dec. 7. To enroll, visit myzinghealth.com or call 1-833-TRY-ZING (1-833-879-9464).
