Mercyhealth is pleased to welcome Fafa Xexemeku, MD, FACC, RPVI, board certified cardiologist, to the physician staff of Mercyhealth Heart and Vascular Center–Janesville.
Dr. Xexemeku’s philosophy of care is to treat every patient as he would want to be treated. He believes the patient-doctor relationship is a partnership built on treating patients as unique individuals and shared decision making in pursuit of the best possible outcome. He provides compassionate care using the best available evidence for diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases.
After earning his medical degree at the University of Ghana Medical School, Accra, Dr. Xexemeku completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Bridgeport Hospital/Yale University, CT. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with added certification in Cardiovascular Disease, Board of Nuclear Medicine, Board of Echocardiography, Board of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, Board of Cardiovascular Computerized Tomography and Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation.
His special interests include:
