Mercyhealth Development Foundation Announces Raffle for House of Mercy Charity Ball

JANESVILLE, Wisconsin—Mercyhealth Development Foundation is pleased to announce its community raffle prizes to benefit the House of Mercy Homeless Center Charity Ball on April 29.

This year’s grand prize is $2,500 cash donated by Rohlik Financial Group. Second prize is a $1,500 gift certificate to the The Diamond Center. Third prize is a $500 cash donated by E&D Water Works Inc. Raffle tickets are $5 each, or five for $20, and may be purchased at the Mercyhealth Gift Shops in Janesville and Rockford, Mercyhealth Mall, Mercyhealth pharmacies, MercyCare Building, and at the Charity Ball. You need not be present to win.

This year’s Charity Ball will take place Saturday, April 29, at the Janesville Country Club, 2615 W. Memorial Dr., Janesville. The elegant, black-tie invited evening will begin at 5 pm with a social hour, hors d’ oeuvres and cocktails. The event’s live auction will begin at 7 pm. At 7:30 pm, guests will enjoy a gourmet, three-course dinner and listen and dance to the high-energy musical stylings of Bluewater Kings Band. A silent auction will be open until 9:45 pm and raffle-drawing winners will be announced at 10 pm. The evening will also include a 100 bottle wine pull. Convenient, mobile bidding will be available for items in the silent auction from your mobile devices.

Proceeds from the Charity Ball support The House of Mercy Homeless Center, a 25-bed facility in Janesville that provides homeless families with short-term emergency shelter and access to housing, job placement and child care resources. Monies raised will provide assistance with success planning, rent deposits, educational expenses, transportation and child care, and other expenses.

Charity Ball event tickets are $100 per person. Corporate tables of eight are $1,000. Seating is by reservation only. Also, please consider donating an item to the event’s silent or live auctions, or a bottle of wine for the wine pull.
