JANESVILLE, Wisconsin- The House of Mercy Homeless Center, 320 Lincoln St., Janesville, will host a volunteer open house on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30pm. The next open house is Tuesday, July 16. Guests will enjoy a facility tour, orientation and learn more about what it takes to be a House of Mercy volunteer.
The House of Mercy Homeless Center is a 25-bed homeless facility that provides homeless families with emergency shelter and access to housing as well as job placement and child care resources. Since 1996, we have served thousands of individuals many of which are children.
Everyone is encouraged to volunteer. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call (608) 754-0045.
