Jackie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Substance Abuse Counselor (SAC). She treats patients of up to age 25.
Jackie has worked with children, teens, and their families with mental health issues for over 10 years. She has gained experiences at the residential, in-home, day treatment and outpatient settings.
Throughout this work, Jackie has maintained a trauma-focused perspective.Jackie has a special interest in working with youth who have experienced trauma with formal training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
Other interests include working with children, teens, and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, parental substance abuse, divorce, and co-occurring disorders. Jackie uses a variety of approaches including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. Jackie likes to meet clients where they are at and uses interventions that meet each patient’s developmental needs.
