Other Treatments for AIDS

People with HIV infection or AIDS have a higher risk of certain cancers. Any care plan will depend on the type of cancer you have.
This may involve treating:
  • The effects of the virus and how the immune system works
  • The cancer with chemotherapy or radiation therapy
  • Other problems such as anemia, wasting, bleeding, and seizures
