Many would consider our nurses the heart and soul of Mercyhealth, and I certainly agree. As frontline care providers, they work tirelessly to meet the needs of our patients at all hours of the day and night. They are healers, advocates, teachers, confidants and friends. Whether they practice in hospitals, emergency departments, clinics, home health, or any of the other areas that nurses work at Mercyhealth, they remain a constant presence on which our patients and families can cou.
To celebrate our compassionate partners — and all of the generous caregivers nationwide — I hope you will join me in paying tribute to this indispensable group of individuals. If you know or have been touched by a nursing professional, please take a moment to say thank you.
On behalf of Mercyhealth, thank you, Mercyhealth nurses, for your life-saving care and life-changing work. I am proud to work alongside you as we serve our communities with a passion for making lives better.
Sue Ripsch, senior vice president and system chief nursing officer
