JANESVILLE, Wis. – The Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville updated its emergency room with new medical equipment on Monday.
ZOLL’s Intravascular Temperature Management therapy helps regulate a person’s core body temperature by warming patients who are critically ill or undergoing surgeries.
“We owe it to our community to provide the best tools for improving outcomes for patients suffering from traumatic events,” said Dr. Glenn Milos, Mercyhealth’s medical director and emergency medicine physician.
According to the press release, the new equipment is efficient, precise and easy to use. It will also give nurses more time to tend to patients’ other needs.
